Aboriginal Health
A meeting between the Walgett Aboriginal Medical Service, Western NSW Local Health District and Collarenebri community agreed that the Collarenebri community would be supported by NSW Health and Walgett AMS to secure funding for its own Aboriginal health services to meet the specific needs of the local community.

Meetings have been held with the Office of Rural Health Commissioner to discuss funding requirements and models. Further discussions need to occur with the Aboriginal Health Division of the Department to explore funding models for an integrated health service
