Eurool Agricultural Training Centre

The cost of fruit and vegetables, and fresh meats, in Collarenebri-Galariinbaraay is a barrier to the ability of residents to ensure adequate intake of healthy foods and results in high calorie intake as a result of processed foods contributing to obesity, increased heart risks, inattention in schooling, low educational attainment and other negative outcomes.

With the consent of the Murray Family as traditional owners of Eurool, the Plan is to establish a Model Farm as a training facility for Aboriginal people in agricultural trades and management, create employment and produce affordable foods for local people.
