SOCIAL
COMMUNITY TRANSPORT
Despite funding for community transport services in Collarenebri, they are routinely not available and do not link to existing services or needs. The lack of reliable community transport limits the capacity of young people to attend education and training in Walgett and Moree; limits access to specialised health services and employment mobility. This leads to reduced employment and educational opportunity and poorer health. We will work with relevant authorities to identify ways to improve community transport services or seek funding to establish and operate a Collarenebri service.
